NEW YORK (AP) — Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has announced that she has been hospitalized due to a medical emergency, which will prevent her from performing at the ONE MusicFest in Atlanta on Saturday night.
In an emotional message shared on Instagram, she expressed her sadness about missing the event, stating, “I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency for the last couple of days. It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend.”
Cardi B, who recently welcomed her third child with rapper Offset just two months ago, reassured her followers by saying, “I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry.” Despite her upbeat message, she did not provide any specific details regarding her health condition.
As of now, the 32-year-old artist is also navigating a divorce from Offset. She was scheduled to perform alongside notable artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Nelly, Gunna, and GloRilla at the two-day music festival.
