LOS ANGELES (AP) — On Tuesday night, former football player Reggie Bush was at his home in Encino when three men tried to break in, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday.
Bush reassured the Times through a text message, saying, “Everyone is safe.”
The Los Angeles Police Department informed the Times that a person residing in the house heard a window breaking, and they found broken glass outside. Thankfully, nothing was taken, and witnesses reported seeing three men dressed in black fleeing the area.
Reggie Bush is a former standout player at the University of Southern California and in the NFL. Earlier this year, he was officially reinstated as the winner of the 2005 Heisman Trophy, which he had to give up in 2010 after USC faced penalties tied to Bush’s interactions with two individuals who were trying to promote themselves in sports marketing.
