BURBANK, Calif. (AP) — James Kennedy, known for his role on “Vanderpump Rules,” was arrested on Thursday under suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence, according to police reports. Kennedy, 32, whose full name is James Kennedy Georgiou, was taken into custody following an incident involving an unidentified woman.
The incident occurred late Tuesday night around 11:30 p.m., when Burbank police were called to a home due to reports of a heated argument between a man and woman, as stated by Burbank Police Sgt. Stephen Turner.
Upon investigation, officers confirmed it was a domestic situation involving Kennedy and the woman. Following his arrest, he was booked into jail but was later released after posting bail. The Burbank city attorney will now decide if any charges will be brought against him.
Attempts to reach out to Kennedy’s representative for comments have not yet received a response.
Originally from London, Kennedy has been a prominent figure in the reality series “Vanderpump Rules,” which focuses on the lives of the staff at the upscale eateries owned by Lisa Vanderpump, a former star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The show is gearing up for its 12th season, which will feature a completely new cast.
